I cried when I read this.
It is such a sweet display of human empathy in a tragic situation.
But, I felt especially touched because my family is going through a similar trial as that grandfather.
My two year old cousin was severely beaten by his step-father and is in critical condition, but unlike Caden, he seems to be on the road to recovery.
Prayers are appreciated.
Now go hug your mom.
